Tasty and Healthy

In the French Custom, cooking is not only a survival need it is a unique way of living that creates a distinctive art of socialization.

As far as I can remember, I have a tender memory of my Mom in the kitchen trying to juggle four active kids, prepare dinner and run the household. I also remember the sweet times of breakfast, lunch and dinner when sitting down for meal was actually the precious moment for the whole family to share experiences, thoughts and life encountering occurrences.

This, my Friend, is the French way of living. A never-ending joy to spend times sharing the human richness around a table. Notice that food is not the reason why people get together at the first place. Food is the medium. The purpose is a personal growth through social diversity.

Food has taken a dimension it was not intended for: comfort. This food comfort phenomenon has replaced the human interactions and created a reality of fulfillment through victuals instead of feeling of happiness through human experiences. Fear of the other or fear of oneself, it does not matter. What matters is, knowing that this situation is reversible by choosing differently. Food is never bad; this is the reason behind the nourishment that has been distorted.

In order to enjoy food again without suffering of side effects as obesity, weight gain, yo-yo patterns and other food dis-eases, here are a few recipes to not only enjoy the taste of it but learn again that cooking can take little time and little creativity for great rewards in terms of health, and personal and social gratifications!
